Divorce
Have been divorced herself, Ashley intimately understands what her clients face when facing the divorce process, and that it is never where we thought we would end up. She understands the bumpy road of coparenting a child. Whether it is an initial divorce, or post-decree modifications, Ashley's personal experience helps her empathize with clients while guiding them and advocating for the positive resolutions they deserve.

I believe what sets me apart in the legal community is my ability to be both deeply sensitive and relentlessly strong. They say you can’t teach grit. I earned it the long way, case by case, family by family, without ever losing my capacity to empathize. That balance of toughness and heart is where I do my best work, and it’s what sets my representation apart. Some say I have a “pitbull” reputation, but I see myself as more of a mother bear: I listen, I empathize, and I care profoundly about what my clients are going through, and when their interests are threatened, I will protect them with everything I have.
My practice is rooted in creativity and strategy. I think outside the box and craft settlement solutions that honor what matters most to each client, even when those resolutions don’t follow the typical script most lawyers will follow. No two families are the same, so their outcomes shouldn’t be either. When settlement efforts fail and litigation becomes necessary, that same creativity becomes an asset. I analyze each case from every angle and never hesitate to challenge the status quo to accomplish my client’s goals.

When children are involved, their well-being guides every piece of advice I give. I’ve had the privilege of serving on panels with attorneys representing families in dependency, neglect, and abuse matters, where I gained invaluable insight into the most current research on child development, trauma, attachment, and long-term well-being. That knowledge helps me advocate with clarity, compassion, and a grounded understanding of what truly serves a child’s best interests.
Above all, I never lose sight of the reality that my clients are real people living through one of the most difficult chapters of their lives. Family court is an imperfect system, and navigating it takes equal parts innovation, empathy, and fierce advocacy. My mission is always the same: to guide my clients through the storm with strength, creativity, and compassion, and to make their lives a little better than they were before they crossed my path.
